MGH Emergency Preparedness and the Office of Global Disaster Response in the Center for Global Health are closely monitoring the ongoing and worsening Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The Center for Global Health has been working diligently with the Office of Risk Management and other officials at Partners Healthcare and Harvard University to provide appropriate guidance regarding travel abroad and repatriation of staff. Mass General Emergency Preparedness works across Mass General, including the Emergency Department, Infection Control, Infectious Disease, Pathology and Laboratory Services, the other hospitals of Partners Healthcare, and with health officials in Massachusetts to ensure the preparedness of Mass General, and to anticipate concerns and ensure preparedness.
